Kao Kan is a character in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. He is the son of Lao Che and the younger brother of Chen. He is older than a Short Round.
In Lego Indiana Jones[]
Kao Kan is a playable character in Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. Kao Kan has a machine gun, like the other Chinese gangsters. He is the last gangster you throw the diamond at for the antidote. Be careful, as he will fire his machine gun at you after Indiana Jones drinks the antidote. After drinking the antidote, Indy cuts one of the gongs down to avoid the machine gunfire.
He can be bought as a playable character in Free Play mode for 25,000 studs after Shanghai Showdown is completed.

- If you want, you can run over him with your gong before fleeing Club Obi Wan. But, there is another way to kill him, even before you unlock free play. All you have to do is use Willie Scott's super scream and he will fall into pieces.
